Around and Around

I envisioned a 2-3 year old going pumpkin or apple picking in this. Or maybe just romping around in the leaves - fall colors just make me smile.

For such a quick knit, it took me way too long to complete. I had most of this done a few months ago; the last sleeve was finally finished the other day. A little friend of mine tried it on at Knitsmiths this past Sunday and it looked so cute - now for the Acorn Hat!

Pattern: Child's Pinwheel Sweater by Shelley Mackey
Yarn: Knitpicks Swish in Sunshine, Aloe, Dublin, Jade, Copper, Fired Brick and Truffle
Needles: Addi circulars US8
Measurements: To fit a 6 months - 3 year old
Started: December 21, 2001
Finished: February 10, 2008
Other Details: The directions are a bit spotty when you get to the armholes, but otherwise it was an easy pattern that goes quick with all the colors changes!

That coat is Gorgeous! I love fall colours too! The acorn hat is seriously adorable!! I knit it up when we went on holidays this summer, and it is too adorable on my chubby cheeked (now 11 mo old). Wish I could post a pic of him in it-but dogs not only steal yarn, they eat camera cords....

Great sweater, is it all in one piece or are the sleeves separate?

Oh, that's adorable. I've seen it on Ravelry and on countless little girls and it looks fantastic each and every time. I love your choice of earthy colors, too!
